Dinil Mon Divakaran is a Senior Principal Scientist at the A*STAR Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R) in Singapore, with research focus on AI Security. He has more than a decade of research experience developing AI models to tackle challenging problems in the domain of Cyber Security. Some of the important topics include phishing attack, anomaly detection and attack identification for securing ISP, enterprise, and consumer networks, IoT security, as well as security log (SIEM/EDR) modeling for endpoint protection (e.g., malware detection). He regularly conducts offensive research to investigate and evaluate the robustness of AI systems, state-of-the-art security solutions, new encryption protocols for networks, etc. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the School of Computing at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
