AXIOM DEMONSTRATES DO NOT CALL (DNC) SCREENING SERVICE FOR MICROSOFT TEAMS PHONE SYSTEM

12 October 2022, Singapore – Axiom IT Solutions Pte Ltd demonstrates its “DO NOT CALL (DNC) Screening” service for Microsoft Teams Calling at Cybersecurity World Singapore held at Marina Bay Sands. This new service enables businesses using Microsoft Teams for calling to have their Telemarketing calls screened against Privacy Data Protection Commission (PDPC)’s DNC database automatically.
This DNC screening service is an add-on functionality forAxiom Teams Connector. Microsoft Teams users who are subscribed to the service will have all their outgoing calls bescreened against the DNC database of PDPC and company’sblacklist automatically. If the called party number is registered with the DNC registry or found within the company’sblacklist, Axiom Teams Connector will alert the caller with a message of ‘Do Not Call’ and discontinue the call. Otherwise, the call will be allowed to ring the other party as usual. This solution is easy to use and ensures compliance to PDPA for Telemarketing calls.

The DNC provisions of the PDPA generally prohibits organizations from calling to Singapore telephone numbers listed in the DNC Registry. This includes mobile, fixed-line, residential and business numbers. All Businesses must ensure that they do not call to Singapore telephone numbers registered with the DNC Registry.
